The Hessian Cake Lace mat is a new design inspired by the traditional woven fabric that can be recognised by it's distinctive cross-stitched appearance.Commonly known as burlap in the USA, Hessian is a woven fabric historically used in the German state of Hesse, and can be identified by it's cross-stitched appearance.

Cake Lace mats, as standard, have a unique '3D' effect with different levels of detail.

Use this with Cake Lace, to apply beautiful edible lace to wedding cakes, celebration cakes, or anything else!

You can attach Cake Lace by brushing a tiny amount of water onto your sugarpaste, and gently press your Cake Lace onto this.
